1月27日（土）～28日（日），国際シンポジウム「アフロ・ユーラシアの考古植物学」に参加してきました。シンポジウムは奈良文化財研究所平城宮跡資料館で開催されました。

このシンポジウムは，植物考古学研究の現状における課題，世界における農耕の出現と拡散について提示されました。この2日間で，私は植物考古学の研究成果にもとづく世界規模の農耕化現象に関する最新情報を聞くことができたと思います。

シンポジウムの後，日本・海外の研究仲間たちと大討論会を行いました。職の状況や研究面の困難は世界どこも同じようです。

関係者の方がた，友人の皆様，ありがとうございました。次を見据えて，私も新しい研究を進めます。
